Ski-In/Ski-Out Score

For owners and property managers

Your free Ski‑In/Ski‑Out Score badge

Show guests and buyers how easy it is to ski from your door. Anyone can make a badge for an address at SilverStar or Big White, free. It carries the score, the resort and skiinskioutscore.ca, and it clicks through to a page that explains what the score means.

How to get your badge

  1. Look up your address on the SilverStar score page or the Big White score page.
  2. Tap Get your badge on the score card.
  3. Open your badge page to download the image, copy the embed code for your website, or copy a plain text line for your listing.

The first 5 lookups are free. After that, a quick sign-up gives you 10 lookups a day. Making a badge for an address you’ve already looked up doesn’t use another one.

Where to use it

Your rental website

Add the live badge with the embed code. It links to your badge page, and it updates itself if the score is rechecked.

Airbnb and VRBO

Use the plain text line in your description. These sites don’t allow text, logos or links in photos or links in descriptions, so the image stays off them.

Selling your home

MLS® photo rules ban text and logos in photos, and boards don’t allow web addresses in public remarks. Your REALTOR® can tell you whether the text line fits your board’s rules.

Brochures and welcome books

Download the PNG for print, guest welcome books, emails and social posts.

What the score is (and isn’t)

The Ski-In/Ski-Out Score is a map estimate of ski access for one address: the walk to the snow, the nearest lift, the easiest run out and home, and the door-to-chair time. Each address is compared only with others at the same resort. The green, blue and black rings stand for the run levels: the main score assumes green runs both ways, and at SilverStar the badge also shows the score for groups happy on blues or blacks.

It isn’t an appraisal or a guarantee of ski access. The exact formula stays private, so it can’t be copied or gamed.
